World Cinema on Your Doorstep!

Ayr Film Society is South Ayrshire's award-winning community-led cinema about to enter it's 47th season.  We bring the best non-mainstream films to the area. Many great films don't make it to the local multiplex which then means a trip to Glasgow to see them. Our season runs from September to March, with screenings on Thursday evenings at Ayr Town Hall. Our venue is the main auditorium with a choice of seating in the stalls or the balcony.
